Little League requirements are generally the same as other not-for-profit institutions and organizations. McLane Little League requires 4 main documents:
New Coach (but have clearances from other purposes)
We do not require new documentation. Complete the
New Volunteer Application. We will use this to conduct our required background checks.
Returning Coach
If you have recently coached for McLean Little League, we should have your clearances on file. Complete the

- Facility Manager - Overall maintenance of facilities, knowledgeable with field care and prep. Works to assist with site repairs and upgrades.
- Grounds and Field Maintenance - Working with the facility manager, primary duties would be field care and minor repairs on fences and bleachers.
- Division Coordinator - Receives and distributes information to and from all coaches in a defined age group (division). Helps to organize practice and game schedules.
- Coaching Coordinator - Represents coaches/managers in league; distributes league information to coaches and managers; coordinates mini-clinics as necessary; helps implement www.LittleLeagueCoach.org as the manager-coach education program for the league.
- Team Parent Coordinator - Acts as a liaison between the league and team parents. Provides communication support and helps organize team activities, such as picture days or end-of-season celebrations.
- Player Agent (Softball) - The player agent oversees player selection, assists the president in checking eligibility of players and generally supervises and coordinates the transfer of players to or from the different Leagues according to provisions of the regulations of Little League Baseball/softball. Separate player agents may also be selected to oversee individual divisions within the league. The player agent is allowed to manage, coach or umpire in the division over which he/she has authority upon approval of the board.
- Concession Stand Volunteers - Working inside the concession stand during game times.
- Umpire In Chief - Coordinating game schedules with umpires, help with training and communicating rule changes to umpires.
- Umpire - Responsible for officiating baseball or softball games ensuring that games are conducted fairly, safely, and in accordance with the rules.
- Social Media Coordinator - Distribute information via the MLL website, Facebook, etc.
